Morgellons or Fiber Disease and FAR Infrared Therapy
By rochelleknox, on August 15th, 2010
Have you experienced the mysterious skin disease known as Morgellons Disease?
Morgellons is an environmental disease lurking in our future that has started to destroy the lives of more human beings and the planet than any one person or the medical field could ever dream up. Its environmental impact will be far bigger than DDT, PCBs and asbestos could possibly be. It is known as Morgellon’s : A Nano-911 Foreign invader. It has got other names likefiber disease, delusional parasitosis and unknown dermatological skin disorder, to name a couple. It is silent, smart, glistening driven by its own transitional metal battery. And when it strikes its victim it feels like a sliver of burning broken glass as it breaks through the skin. Smaller than any of the 150 pieces of a virus known as virons , it isn’t able to be seen by the eye. So silent is it, only the person who has been invaded knows its true nature. Branded with the seal of man-made, self-assembling nano-size materials they can be utilized in forming drugs, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biomaterials, synthetic nerves, synthetic brains, pseudo skin and molecular electronics. Yes, it was modeled after nature’s many wonders, but it still is one hundred percent synthetic. The nano-brew has been unleashed from its systematic flask extending its problems upon a trusting innocent humanity.
Far Infared or FIR Therapy is the number one detox method recommended by Dr Staninger for the treatment of Morgellons, a
mysterious skin disease characterized by protruding skin fibers caused by contact with advanced nano materials. Morgellons Disease
often mistakenly diagnosed as delusional parasitosis or unexplained Dermapathy by the medical field; has been found to in many cases drive patients
to isolation. For more

U.S. to study freakish ailment — is it real?
U.S. to study freakish ailment — is it real?
ATLANTA — It sounds like a freakish ailment from a horror movie: Sores erupt on your skin, mysterious threads pop out of them, and you feel like tiny bugs are crawling all over you.
Some experts believe it's a psychiatric phenomenon, yet hundreds of people say it's a true physical condition. It's called Morgellons, and now the government is about to begin its first medical study of it.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is paying California-based health care giant Kaiser Permanente $338,000 to test and interview patients suffering from Morgellons' bizarre symptoms. The one-year effort will attempt to define the condition and better determine how common it is.
The study will be done in northern California, the source of many of the reports of Morgellons (pronounced mor-GELL-uns). Researchers will begin screening for patients immediately, CDC officials said Wednesday. A Kaiser official expects about 150 to 500 study participants.
Morgellons sufferers describe symptoms that include erupting sores, fatigue, the sensation of bugs crawling over them and — perhaps worst of all — mysterious red, blue or black fibers that sprout from their skin. They've documented their suffering on Web sites.
Some doctors believe the condition is a form of delusional parasitosis, a psychosis in which people believe they are infected with parasites.
In the study, volunteers will get blood tests and skin exams, as well as psychological evaluations, said Dr. Michele Pearson, who leads a CDC task force overseeing the study...

The Mysterious Sickness Recognized As Morgellons
By: Becca G Taylor
Human beings are complex, from our social interaction to our physical function, we defy simple or complete description or understanding. The science of medicine has been hard at work for centuries and still we do not know what causes some of the most prevalent afflictions, even those that are fatal. It is not due to a lack of desire, it is more that like the causes for the symptoms of those who suffer from Morgellons, there are some things we simply do not know.
Unique to this affliction, appearing as it has in the era of the internet and rapid communication, those who similarly suffer have been able to find one another rapidly and work in unison to gain the governments attention. This is important because medical focus on existing disease process is loath to lend resources to a yet undetermined problem because funding is so tight. In addition, each new malady identified is another exposition of how much we do not know.
While the scientific community is loath to accept that there may be a completely new affliction with an as yet unpredictable and difficult to assess disease process, the number of admitted sufferers grows. They individuals who have explained their affliction were smart enough to get their concerns heard by government officials which helps to keep energy focused on researching the illness with the goal of identifying the causative agent and then some type of treatment.
The compelling and disturbing symptom which seems central to those who have it is formally known as formication, this is the sensation that there are living entities beneath the skin that are moving, even stinging or biting the sufferer. Examination of individuals with the complaint, however, have revealed no identifiable life form within the skin as is the case with numerous known parasites.
One of the reasons there is so little progress in the research on this affliction is that early on the malady was associated with a psychiatric disorder. Those who claimed to be sufferers were assumed to have a condition known as delusional parasitosis, the belief they are afflicted with parasite when none are present. Worse, some are accused of creating symptoms in themselves or other purely to attraction attention.
The reality of the ailment is not suspect or inconclusive to those who suffer its effects. Just as with all other medical advancements, there was a periods of time before the answer was revealed during which causality was indeterminate. From centuries ago to as recently as legionnaires disease, the process repeats itself, medical science being slow to accept the idea that new problems, like Morgellons are likely to plague mankind for as long as we roam the earth.

Morgellons Disease Information from CDC Center for Disease Control
CDC continues to receive reports of an unexplained skin condition which some refer to as “Morgellons”. Persons who suffer from this condition report a range of cutaneous or skin symptoms including crawling, biting and stinging sensations; granules, threads, fibers, or black speck-like materials on or beneath the skin; and/or skin rashes or sores. In addition to skin symptoms, some sufferers also report fatigue, mental confusion, short term memory loss, joint pain, and changes in vision.
At this time, scientists and doctors do not know what causes this condition. They do not know if people who report the condition have common risk factors or if there is a common cause for the symptoms. To assist in learning more about this condition, CDC is conducting an epidemiologic investigation. To learn more about the investigation, please refer to the following link: www.cdc.gov/unexplaineddermopathy/investigation.html

Link Between Morgellon's Disease and Genetically Modified "GM" Food
"Just in case you thought it was fine to eat Genetically Modified foods (better identified as "FrankenFoods"), along comes a study which makes it clear that you are eating this make believe non-food at your own peril and, worse yet, you are feeding it to your kids at their peril as well. It is important to note that Codex Alimentarius, which sets standards for the international trade of food, permits genetically modified foods and makes no effort to limit, control or eliminate them. In fact, the US has been trying for years to prevent the labeling of GM foods and seed in international trade to emulate its domestic policy which prohibits any label indication that foods contain GM ingredients, as 75-80% of all foods sold in the US do.
Now it appears that the increasingly prevalent nightmare of a disease called "Morgellon's Disease" may be a result of GM crops and food.
Morgellon's Disease was first described when a woman's 3 year old son developed rashes and intensely itchy sores which produced weird multicolor fibers emerging from his skin. She put up a website about the condition in 2001 and named it "Morgellons Disease" after a 17th century report of a similar affliction."

Morgellons for the Paranoid
"Everyone is getting sick lately. Coughs, skin problems, auto immune problems. The chemtrail activity has been high too. The spraying is almost everyday, and days that are sunny are soon overcast. A heavy (metallic I’m guessing) fog during most mornings too. Because the crap in the aerosol is so heavy?
What does this have to do with children? I saw a baby shortly before writing this. I held her and she looked at my face intently. Like she was examining it with a curious intelligence. Like she could see something that the adults were oblivious to. She grabbed my face and pulled. I go home, and I’ve been itchy lately. I have a sensitive body because I’ve been through so much. I itch my face and pull a hair out. It’s this thick hair with a sheath of goop. I’ve known for awhile about chemtrails and the bio agents that the U.S. corporation govern-mente has been spraying. It turns out these could be nano infections/mycoplasma that climb into the pores and use the tissue to grow. I’ve also read that they are ancient parasitic insects, or mold. From the research I’ve done, morgellons is a word that may represent many different things.
There are a lot of chemtrails where I live, even on a blue sky day (as blue as it gets with the chemicals in the air) there is a thick haze that goes up about 400 ft. We’re literally getting dumped on. I first noticed the abnormal hair and itching when I started using my cell phone more. This indicates a response to electromagnetic radiation. My conclusion is that it is nano technology, and that we’re being experimented on (by those projecting their own savagery and deception). This isn’t going to stop until there’s no more people to kick around, or people stand up and demand answers/do something about it. I’m writing this because few if anyone I know would listen to it. There’s grids in the sky, unnatural clouds and these strange occurrences and yet people ignore it. I know there are people out there who are awake though.
I’m not sure if morgellons are dispersed with the chemtrails, or if it goes higher than the ones controlling the spraying. Maybe they were created by nature to clean us out, or something not of this world. I do know that chemtrails weaken the immune system, which would make people more susceptible to infections. At any rate we’re like test animals on this planet and that is not right. No one is going to save us for us though. We have to become our own swords of justice and virtue. The holy spirit works from within. A parasite can’t be beat from the outside in. You have to think inside out. It is invading and has no right to invade. Open your eyes and take a stand. It’s your body, your mass."

Kaiser Permanente and CDC Collaborate in Mogellons Study
By Miguel Perez-Lizano
This disease is not a new disease. In the past doctors have dismissed Morgellons sufferers with a diagnosis of delusional parasitosis – a psychiatric condition in which a patient believes parasites are crawling in their bodies. I know one Morgellons sufferer who is an intelligent, normal professional and was given this diagnosis. Dismissive use of the term “delusional parasitosis” should be a red flag that signifies the uninformed, uncaring doctors who parrot this diagnosis to hide their ignorance and laziness.
The Centers for Disease Control has awarded Kaiser Permanente a grant to study Morgellons in their patient population in Northern California. The CDC uses Kaiser for studies because of their captive member base. All, or most, records for health care received reside at Kaiser and can be retrieved. In addition, patients included in clinical trials can be easily tracked. This also avoids the expense of enrolling people in clinical trials or studies.Read the rest of the article here

CDC To Launch Study on Unexplained Illness
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in conjunction with Kaiser Permanente’s Northern California Division of Research launched a study to learn about an unexplained skin condition known as Morgellons. Persons who suffer from this condition report a range of symptoms including non-healing skin lesions associated with the emergence of fibers or solid material from the skin, abnormal skin sensations (such as stinging and biting or pins and needles) and non-cutaneous symptoms such as difficulty concentrating and short-term memory loss. Researchers hope to learn more about who might be affected, what symptoms they experience, and factors that may contribute to their illness. "We earnestly want to learn more about this unexplained illness which impacts the lives of those who suffer from it," said Dr. Michele Pearson, principal investigator leading the study for CDC. "Those who suffer have questions, and we want to help them."
CDC will identify patients in Kaiser Permanente’s Northern California Health Plan to enroll in the study. The Kaiser Permanente Division of Research was awarded a $338,000 contract to assist CDC in this investigation because of the organization’s location in a geographic area where self-reported cases are concentrated, the size of the patient population to draw from (Kaiser Permanente covers approximately 30 percent of the Northern California population), and its ability to systematically identify Kaiser Permanente patients who may have this unexplained illness.
"CDC is taking a multifaceted approach to this investigation with other external partners including the Armed Forces Pathology Institute," Dr. Pearson said. "We have a team of epidemiologists, laboratorians, and pathologists to carry out the study," Dr. Pearson added. The primary goals of the investigation are to better describe the clinical and epidemiological features of this condition and to generate hypothesis about possible risk factors.
The investigation may take 12 months or longer to complete. Initially investigators will identify and recruit participants and collect detailed information on participants’ symptoms and potential factors that may contribute to the condition. Later eligible participants will undergo detailed clinical evaluations, including a general medical examination, dermatologic examination, mental health examination, skin biopsies, and multiple blood tests.
Results of this investigation will most likely be published in CDC’s weekly bulletin called the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report or a peer-reviewed scientific journal. A designated web site and voice message line with prerecorded messages (404-718-1199) has been established and will provide updates about the investigation and new information as it becomes available. Interested persons are encouraged to visit the CDC’s Unexplained Dermopathy/Morgellons web site (www.cdc.gov/unexplaineddermopathy) to obtain current information about CDC activities related to this condition.

Morgellons Disease: CDC to investigate in 2008
CDC announces Morgellons investigation in early 2008
By Stephanie Ramage
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will begin an investigation of the mysterious condition known as Morgellons disease in February or March, according to a CDC spokesman.
The CDC investigation, prompted in part by thousands of letters sent to members of Congress by people who believe they have Morgellons, will be done in partnership with Kaiser Permanente.
Dave Daigle, spokesman for the CDC, says Kaiser Permanente was chosen in November to work on the investigation because of its huge patient database. The initial part of the investigation, all of which will be conducted in California, will require the KP team to comb through records to find patients who have complained of symptoms associated with Morgellons. The second part of the investigation will consist of asking those patients to fill out a questionnaire and allow KP and CDC staffers, in addition to other investigators from the American Dermatology Association and the National Armed Forces Pathology Institute, to take blood and tissue samples.
California was chosen for the investigation because there have been more reports of Morgellons in that state than any other. Florida and Texas account for the second and third highest incidence of what sufferers believe to be Morgellons. California, Florida and Texas are also the nation’s most populous states.
At present, KP is working on a set of protocols that outline the strategy that will be used in the investigation. The protocols will be submitted to the CDC’s Institutional Review Board by January.
Daigle acknowledges that there has been a great deal of frustration among those who claim to have the illness, which the CDC presently categorizes as “unexplained dermopathy.” Since the CDC originally said it would look into the condition in June 2006, those who claim to have it have complained that the CDC has been “dragging its feet” on the promised investigation.
“But this is not like Ebola,” says Daigle, “where you can send a team parachuting into the jungle to take care of it.” That’s because Morgellons is widely dismissed as delusional parasitosis within the medical community. “Delusional parasitosis” is the term used to describe the condition of believing one has bugs crawling on or under one’s skin. It’s considered a symptom of mental illness. And so the CDC faces the unusual challenge of finding out if a condition reported by an estimated 10,000 people (according to the Morgellons Research Foundation), but usually dismissed by medical professionals as a delusion, actually exists.

Morgellons Disease Nosology
"In any discussion, particularly in science, the defining of terms is vital to progress. If you think a term means one thing, and someone else thinks it means something else, then unless you address this difference, you are not going to come to any meaningful agreement.
This problem is particularly apparent in the phenomenon of “Morgellons“. There are two particular terms that cause problems. The first is, obviously, “Morgellons” itself, and the second is “Delusional Parasitosis” (DP). The confusion between these terms has led to the doubly misunderstood (and hence incorrect) statement that “Morgellons is DP”. Morgellons is not DP."
